Date of Story: The story starts in 1996, over several months, and then diverts to a brief flashback from 1943 before mingling with dream sequences that tap into a darker, alternate time stream.
Notes: This is a reprint for the mass direct market audience of the #1/2 issue that was originally only available through Wizard Magazine. There's also a short non-Astro City prose story, "Clash of the Titans," with illustrations by Brent, that was originally published in Newer York, included as well as a one page letters column and a new Alex Ross cover. The Astro City story itself is the same.
