Synopsis[edit]
Carl wakes up, takes a shower, goes to a diner for his breakfast and goes to his first job, on the way he partly stumbles nito a getaway car being attacked by Quarrel II and he reminices on his time with the Thrilling Three and how her father was waiting for the "Big Job" which never came. Carl and Fergson during the interviews with family members of the dead Black Masks notice a certain word constantly appearing, the "Big Job" which once again never came. Donewicz also notices the fact that the Black Masks always spent through their ill gotten gains very quickly, leaving the family's in very poor monetary state.
Emotional after the interviews, Carl goes to the graveyard to see his ma, privately thinking about how he'd always wanted an angel on her tombstone, but since he was in prison when tat happened, it never came to be. He then notices that someone else is there, Yolanda Costello, Goldenglove's daughter. She shows off the skills that she can do with her fathers gloves and she wants Steeljack to be her planner as a cat burglar, something that Carl out right refuses to do, enraging her. Yolanda smacks him around with the gloves and Carl gets taken out, unfortunately, his ma's gravestone is smashed. Yolanda leaves, declaring that she's going to get in contact with Ferguson and that she'll show them all. Carl get's up and does his best to fix up the gravestone and stays there.
