Gender Qualification
This is becoming one of my favorite entries on the Website (along with Jack-in-the-Box, Confessor, Astra and Blue Knight). I love the updates and I've had fun with the images.
However, I twitched a bit when I read " Lauren's new identity became the world's foremost female superhero."
Why the qualifier? Why not cast her as "one the world's foremost superheroes" and drop the gender patronizing?
Of course that got me to thinking, who's to say she is not "THE world's foremost superhero period?" Yea, I know Samaritan has all that empyrean stuff coursing through his veins, but hey, Winged Victory can channel a near endless stream of female energy from all the ages. Have we seen her at anything close to her full capabilities?
I don't plan to change the entry (at least not right now), just sharing some thinking and stirring some discussions.

- Foremost, could describe most powerful, the first line of defense or the most well known, which Samaritan would seem to be. Winged Victory might be more on the infamous side. I would probably still give the nod to Samaritan, as we've seen with hyper sonic traveling(which Kurt said in the letter columns about issue six, WV didn't have).
At the same time, though her identity is tied into being "the female hero," so to speak, so the qualifier does make some sense...
- I'm more interested in why she went from being Kristin, to Lauren Freed...
