He cowers well. -- Bertos Grimlar Seneschal‎ History While at Tarleton College, Matt Zimmer happened to run into the schools most famous student Astra Furst without even recognizing who she was. Astra, refreshed at being with someone who didn't just want her for her name or celebrity, took a liking to Matt. Over the months leading up to their graduation night, they became closer. But on their graduation night, Matt started to bring up the questions of where the two of them would be going as a couple starting with yet another run-in with the gossip news show the Inside Scoop while celebrating their graduation at a club. Their journey back, saw Matt witness visits to Astra by a delegation from Monstro City presenting her with officially being part of line of succession for Monstro City and from a young group of heroes who would later be known as Reflex 6, which was led by Skysweeper who at one time dated Astra. These visits just proved how different it would be being around Astra for a "normal" guy. Eventually the couple made their way back to First Family's Headquarters meeting up with Astra's family. While Matt was curious about their long term future, Astra revealed that she was taking them both to the Gordian Knot. Astra showed Matt various locations in the Knot, and more new people, including another former boyfriend Prince Gavrad. As Astra went out she couldn't continue the charade, as she knew all along that Matt was feeding the Inside Scoop all along for the past two weeks. Matt explained that he never could tell what Astra was going to do and whether she would keep Matt around after she had decided. He wound up taking a big money offer from the scoop and an even bigger bonus if he could get a sex video. Matt attempted to save face by cheering up Astra but the damage had been done. He even further damaged his image as a nice guy upon his return to Earth, by falsifying stories of what him and Astra did in the knot for a big day from the Inside Scoop.
