Talk:Samaritan defeats the Iron Legion

No idea why this doesn't show up on the Kurt Busiek's Astro City Vol.2 No.1 events page. Shows up on the Smaritan events timeline on his page, but nothing on Iron Legion page.

First off. COOL! Thanks for jumping in the deep end here and building an event-annotation note card. You did great!

Second. You do have the link to the issue's events page set correctly. The problem has to do with how wiki sites update pages with queries on them. It is not an automatic process. Pages get cached, and something has to trigger the page that it needs to be updated. Usually a change (edit) to the page will do the trick. But for pages that don't change, the cached paged is what is delivered from the server.

I should have posted a warning about this somewhere. My bad. Here's the quick way to get it to display...

1. Go to the events page (for the issue or the character(sometimes they don't show up either), and click the tab to edit.

2. Click the "show preview" button at the bottom of the page. That should trigger the server to re-generate the page which includes running the query to find all the event note cards that reference the particular issue or character.

3. Clicking the "save page" button (even if you didn't make any changes) will insure the update is stored.

I've done it for the issue page. Feel free to try it on the Iron Legion page. Let me know if you still can't see the event.
