The Birds of Paradise A group of flying heroines from Brazil. History During the Enelsian Invasion(1997) , they sank several carriers in Guanabara Bay. A few months later they apprehended Senhor Tecnico. The group remains active. During the summer of 2015, on their home turf of Rio de Janeiro, they aided the Gentleman and Winged Victory against a rampage caused by the reawakening Destructoids. Powers They have the ability of flight. Observations Their name sources from the exotic birds found in the jungles of South America. They wear feathered costumes that reflect the carnival dancers of their native country. Their two in-panel appearances span nearly two decades. They do not seem to have aged. Only three members have been shown to date. No information like names, team details, character backstory, has been provided. They are the ultimate window dressing.
