A criminal gang that assumes the forms, right down to DNA and fingerprints, of other individuals.
History
April 26, 1967 - Disguised as famous celebrities, including Lyndon Johnson, Elizabeth Montgomery and Jimi Hendrix, the Doppel Gang committed a series of bank heists. In the course of one robbery, they fought the Silver Agent.
Seven years later, defense lawyer Vince Oleck used that and various other super-crime stories to establish reasonable doubt in the trial of a mob boss's guilty son. ("Knock Wood")
