Cover Scans

Zak,

My work schedule is a bit frantic right now. Scans-on-request are way down on my very long priority list. Feel free to scan the covers yourself or for now take the best scan you can find from comics.org. Also feel free to build an issue-template. Sorry about the covers, I know I said I would like higher quality stuff and would work to scan them myself, but other stuff is taking priority. I am fine with comics.org, they are better than nothing.
Template making can be a bit tricky, I am only mentioning it if you are interested. If you are, I would suggest using the character page template as a model. It is very basic and it is close to what is needed here. Just simple parameters that you pass content to. For now you can ignore all that "noinclude" stuff at the bottom. --Infobroker (talk) 18:06, 6 November 2013 (PST)

I'll try on it when I get a few days off and the time. I've wanted to try, but just figured I wouldn't get very far. Thanks for the help there.

I created a basic template for publication, with all of the basic info. Not totally sure, the only thing that threw me was the character page had all the 'ifs' and brackets. I tried playing with it, but couldn't get anything.

ADD: I think it's back to what Yiding talked about, how on the old site, when you'd call for your template and hit the preview button, it would show the parameters in the preview and in editing box, where you knew where to put them.
What I don't get, is we have the template, but its like you have to know what all the parameters are to fill it out, so you're back to having multiple windows open, instead of just being able to call for it and it lays them out for you.
