A very touching, tender story of an artificial being struggling with the mystery of her past, made all the more difficult since she is also struggling with a programming flaw that impedes her from retaining any information that might aid in her solving just exactly who she is, and where she came from.

As part of her legal proceedings to establish Beautie's identity as a full and independent citizen, her lawyer cited the case Looney Leo vs. Fargo's Funny Features as a precedent element in his legal brief. Looney would appear to be an alternate and apparently legal spelling of Loony Leo.
