• Kurt's pattern when introducing new characters that play a dominant role, is to find a moment in the story to present their full names. Both Sunshrike and Nightengale are presented with only their first names. It's quite possible that these names are still note their character's real names, but code names used to protect their identities long term. Note that this is fan speculation of the highest order, based on really thin patterns of observation.
