" The Gentleman was based off a man named Daniel Armstrong, a widower and stay at home dad. He died while guiding civilians to safety from the Bund-o-Teurs, during one of their attacks in 1942 from stray debris. Matilda Jame Armstrong, his daughter unable to handle the psychological trauma of her father's death activated her psychic powers creating a near invincible manifestation that resembled her father to stay with her and fight evil."
