The visions and activities of the dreams were so intense, they disturbed his daily rhythms, disrupting his focus and productivity. Thinking she might be part of some faded memories of the past, he sought out and pestered old friends and acquaintances, hoping for some kind of information, a confirmation that might be a clue to this mysterious woman's identity. Fate in the form of the The Hanged Man intervened in Michael's tormented quest. The wispy guardian of Shadow Hill showed Tenicek images from the past.
