History
A McGuffin of sorts. A new type of technology created by Dr. Chavez in the early 1980s. Its exact purpose or powers never revealed. Like any McGuffin, it has tangled plot connections to the major players within the story. That includes a cat, a villain, two super-heroes, (Sunshrike and Nightingale), and a young girl.
