A genetics research corporation. Their main business interests focuses on developing new strains of genetically modified wheat. That may just be a front for their other activities, engaging in illegal human genetic modifications. Calvin Rory, a carnival rube, claims to be an escaped and unwilling subject of such experiments. Transgene has counter claims that he of trespassed on their private property, and is nothing more than a petty criminal.
Rumors persist that several, if not all members of Team Carnivore are the results of TransGene mutations.
