Hi, I am reading the full run of Astro City for the first time and I am loving it. I just finished the Dark Age saga, and had one question: Why do we not see the original Confessor in any of the four parts of the Dark Age? He would have been around in those years. At the very least, there could have been references to him or a few glimpses of him. Being new to Astro City, this topic may have been addressed before, so I would appreciate it if someone could point me to any previous responses to this question. Thanks Wade

Hi Wade.

As a long time fan I am unaware of any information provided by Kurt relating to your question. My speculation is that while yes he was active in that timeframe, there just wasn't a need to present more back story on him, since he history was already well covered in the Confessor story arc. You might want to try contacting Kurt directly. I know his website is suffering some technical issues, but if you have a Facebook account, he is still active on his Astro City Facebook Page.
