HistoryIn 2000, a supervillain from the future, Armageddon attempted to create a reverse big bang which would have destroyed all universes that ever were or would be in the future. While many worlds and galaxies were destroyed, the First Family managed to override his collapsar wave, by sending in a non-mechanical source; Astra Furst. While Armageddon was defeated, many worlds and realities near the weapon were converged into one another and Astra's brainwaves were the only thing keeping them and the universe together in what became the Gordian Knot. While eventually Dr. Furst and others managed to put it on a wave-generator in tune with the pulse of the universe. The Knot exists in all realities and serves as a nexus. The If the Knot is destroyed as it is, all universes and dimensions would cease to exist. There are still countless civilizations trapped from Armageddon's ploy in the nucleus known as the Caldera, but there are many teams of scientists working on pulling them out even though it is delicate work. Astra Furst accepted an invitation to join the Terran team helping pull out various worlds for the nexus as it's often disorienting for beings when their worlds are pulled out.
