Story Synopses © Juke Box Productions Pastoral "Pastoral" was originally published in Astro City: Local Heroes No.3. Synopses Cammie Aarons is a hip, sophisticated, teenage girl from Astro City, whose parents have "doomed" her to a summer vacation in the country. She finds the people there decidedly un-hip, unsophisticated, and just plain boring. She's due for some surprises though as this pastoral setting becomes a rite of passage. Notes This story was originally scheduled for release in 1999 as Kurt Busiek's Astro City Vol. 2 #23, before that particular Astro City series went on hiatus.
