Andy Merton, a minor thug, technically working for Mack Faraday, took Hank, a corgi, from a druggie called Mannie, who owed Faraday way more money than he did, after Hank was taken, whom Andy thought was Mannie's pet, (It turns out Mannie stole him from a breeder) Mannie tried to take money from one of Angel Bobby's coke runners... which went well and basically Andy got Hank. "I did steal the amulet though. Straight up." Desperate for money, Andy broke into a house over Eastbrook, where he found a shrine to Stormhawk, he took some jewelry in the house as well as well as an amulet, not for monetary value, he just wanted it. He afterwards spent a good amount of time looking after Hank, mostly house training him to start off with, but over time, he grew close to the little corgi. One day, after a walk in the park and whilst thinking about how Andy owed Faraday another payment soon, Hank touched the amulet with his nose, fusing them together, briefly. Andy quickly understood how to go back and forth between dog/human and was very intrigued by the experience. Whilst testing out his powers, Andy was interested in some bank jobs that he could pull off, but he could hear Hank in the back of his mind saying "No. Not good." which started to deter him, foiling a mugging soon afterwards, the people who saved him asked his name and whilst
