HistoryRed Cake Day is a specific day of the year on which all sorts of delicious red-colored baked goods mysteriously appear in Honor Guard's headquarters. It has occurred annually since 1991, but an explanation was not forthcoming until 2014, when it was revealed that the cakes were provided by Eth of the QuiQui-A as atonement for his role in the death of Honor Guard member Stormhawk.
Observations
Speculations, TheoriesPossibly Red Cake Day was inspired by Elliot S! Maggin's fictional holidays Miracle Monday (from the Superman novel of the same name) and Thirsty Thursday (from Superman #293), although this is purely conjectural.
