HistoryThe group came into the public light in 1974 after, Richard Forgione had to stand trial for the murder of Lisette Palais. Attorney Vince Oleck unleashed the infamous superhero defense and got Richie off. But their triumph was short-lived, as both Forgione's were found murdered within a week after the case, presumably by The Blue Knight, which shattered the organization.
