Madame Majestrix's infamous invasion in the Spring of 1973, which was also the Silver Agent's execution day. She was angry at North America, for turning her son, Rex Zorus against her and fellow Monstro City residents, after he took sides against them and joined with the First Family.
The attack was preceded by 360 pylons appearing over various parts of North America, which were later revealed to be inertial bolts anchored in the tectonic plates of the continent. It would have led to volcanic eruptions and earthquakes meant to rip the continent into outer space.
Majestrix appeared out of nowhere with Monster Troops in the afternoon in Astro City, announcing her plans and intents. Naturally, this was met with resistance by the city's protectors. It was a fierce battle, with no clear victor emerging and Majestrix's plans seemingly ready to go on, when a time traveling giant-sized Silver Agent appeared to broker talks between Majestrix with Rex and the First Family. Rex did state it wasn't his attention to disrespect his mother, but his choice to stay with the Fursts', which led to discussion between the two. Eventually, Majestrix shut down her inertial bolts and Rex has spent most of his time with the First Family ever since. The irony for many was that everyone cheered the future Agent's actions to help save them, but at the same time he had been executed as planned during battle.
