Grimoire History Grimoire was originally the assistant of the great sorcerer Simon Magus. Her body was tattooed all over with spells written in a foreign script, and she can be thought of as his living spellbook or his magical battery. To charge himself, the two would perform a mystic, sexual ritual. She eventually became a mighty sorceress champion in her own right, after Magus was out of the picture. She appeared in 1982, during the Rise of Kerresh the Devastator to warn the Point Man about the dangers of using The Innocent Gun. Years after their association, she wrote a book revealing how she was the true source of his power.
