Julius Furst
It's difficult to talk about Julius Furst, without also mentioning Augustus. Imagine yourself the younger brother of a world class genius. You know you will never be as smart as him, not by a long shot. He seems to get all the attention, the world dotes on him. You stand in the background. There were probably articles speculating on your IQ potentials circulating in gossip magazines when you were young. Today, when the media approach you, they are picking your brains for information about your Augustus. For some that would lead to envy, jealousy. Emotions that can spawn sibling rivalries, even hatred. Not Julius. He admires his brother, tolerates and forgives his embarrassing social faux pas. In many ways his caring actions are that of the protective elder sibling. The responsible one.
History
That devotion has lead to a shared lifetime of adventuring with Augustus. Behaving as an associate, business manager of sorts, shedding any strong personal goals he may have, and helping his brother with whatever inventive schemes are currently tickling his whimsical and very creative grey matter.
To the outside world, their family partnership began in the 1950s, traveling the world, exploring strange phenomena, battling even stranger creatures. Admired as heroes, but also known to challenge authority, especially when that authority was behaving in a totalitarian manner.
<more to come...>
Powers
None to speak of, just a solid muscular build, compromised a bit by his cigar smoking habit.
Equipment
He is usually seen carrying a big gun of some kind, or operating the sophisticated, hi-tech machinery created by his brother's inventiveness, and their combined engineering prowess.
Observations
In 1971 he was arrested for selling nuclear secrets to the Kardonese, but it was eventually revealed to have been the misdeeds of the Worst Family.
His first name and likeness are a tribute to comic book editor Julius Schwartz.
