HistoryIn 1959, Max O' Millions brought together a group of fellow heroes to combat the Legions of Midnight. The group decided to stay together as Honor Guard. At the time, most people weren't sure if the group would stay together very long. Shortly afterward, the team allied with the Bouncing Beatnik and the Old Soldier to prevent Shirak the Devourer's worshipers from freeing their master in our dimension. ("The Scoop"). By 1995, the team's roster consisted of the Black Rapier, Samaritan, the second Quarrel, MPH, the second Cleopatra, the N-Forcer, and Beautie, a line-up that would remain stable for many years to come.
